Writer Pablo Neruda once said of his wife of 35 years: “I know her so well, I don’t know her at all.”

I imagine you and your pen are on a similar path together.

Thank you for the gift of your writing. My Montessori training directs me not to cover another person’s joy or satisfaction in their work by dishing a tacky heap of my fluffy praise on top of it with my superfluous opinions. Easier said than done sometimes. This comment is intended to be an ample ladleful six inches or so next to your piece so as not to impose. I enjoy your writing so much.

Hi Miriam! I relate so much to you and your different texting personalities! Same same but different haha 😆 I often find myself being unusual in front of strangers. Maybe it's the way I start talking or sometimes even the subject of the conversation that I didn't even know I have an opinion on! It's all inside of us and so cool you pulled it out and made it sir in front of you and wrote about it. This was my first substack essay of the morning and I thoroughly enjoyed it 💐🧿
